Star Quality PUMA Open L.A.
Thursday, 02 July 2009 14:13

Amidst the backdrop of the Rose Bowl, Brookside Golf Club was a great location to host the 4th stop on the 2009 PUMA Open series. There were a lot of familiar faces in the field like Team Cobra Kai

as well as some energetic new ones like Kyle Howard, from CBS's MyBoys TV Show.

Thanks to a kind donation of Gran Centenario Tequila the margaritas helped set the mood and keep everyone's shots straighter... well maybe not so much?

The PUMA Demo made it's first appearance in LA which allowed players to test out the new PUMA Golf footwear during their round of golf... yes that's right... pretty much the whole day. The feedback was great and we're looking forward to rolling out this program throughout the rest of the series.

Function Drinks who calls southern Cali their home, not only kept the field hydrated with their popular drinks but also entered teams into the event. Shout out to Joey Steger and his Team Function: Slice and Dice.

At the end of the night, only one team rose above the rest to be crowned the kings of the PUMA Open LA, and that team was Ron’s Team. Check out the champs and all their glory!
